Hitting the Streets - Homeless Outreach
Hitting the Streets is a homeless outreach program connecting with a new community every month across the region, including Franklin, Gasconade, Phelps, Maries, and Crawford counties.
The outreach relies on ongoing donations of essential items to keep supporting people living outside.
Suggested donations include personal care items, trash bags, pull-tab canned foods, 5lb dog food bags, snack crackers, socks, hand warmers, wipes, plastic utensils, tuna and chicken kits, potted meats, deodorant, hat and glove sets, and disposable razors.
Local representatives coordinate donations by area: Franklin/Gasconade (Teresa Whalen), Phelps/Maries (Macy Arnote), and Crawford (Kathie Clover-Hoss).
